THE ART OF THE BRICK exhibition by artist Nathan Sawaya is a critically acclaimed collection of inspiring artwork made exclusively from one of the most recognizable toys in the world: the LEGO® brick.
With more than 100 sculptures made entirely out of LEGO bricks, THE ART OF THE BRICK appeals to children, adults, art enthusiasts, and anyone who has ever picked up a LEGO brick and let their imagination run free. See Sawaya’s original artworks and versions of well-known masterpieces including:
- Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night
- Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa
- A 20-foot-long T. rex dinosaur skeleton
The life-size sculptures in THE ART OF THE BRICK are sure to inspire your inner architect and artist, so when you’re finished touring the exhibition, explore Science of the Brick, a hub for hands-on play, featuring 17 activity tables with brick building challenges and interactives, plus free-play and demonstration areas. Create your own brick masterpieces, build a maze out of LEGO bricks, compose a melody using a music box made from LEGO bricks, build cars and race them, and more!
